Getting There

Taxis

Taxis are readily available outside the airport. On exiting main airport doors, look left and the taxi rank is to the side of the main doors. Taxis take a maximum of 5 persons and luggage and some carriers charge a nominal amount for luggage - approximately €2 per item. Most do not provide baby/booster seats.

In Menorca, taxi companies have set charges to different resorts and most carry a list of prices in the cab. They operate out of different areas in Menorca which are divided into zones. Contact numbers are as follows:

Prices are per one way and include VAT, delays and airport assistance. Clients can book either just one way or return transfers.

Baby seats are available at a cost of £6 per way - please order in advance.

Other Resorts

We are working with a company called Shuttle Menorca who can offer transfers to and from your holiday accommodation.

Their service offers you the opportunity to reserve a transfer, either private / shared from Mahon Airport to your holiday destination in Menorca. Transfer is by coach, minibus, taxi or car with a driver, directly to your accommodation: villa or apartment.

Ferries

The ferries leave Mahon daily for Barcelona, but also once a week for Palma Majorca and Valencia. Iscomar Ferries also has a service from Ciutadella to Alcudia , while Cape Balearia Ferries sail from Ciutadella to Alcudia and Barcelona. Ferry bookings should be made in advance, particularly if a car is being taken. Please check relevant websites below as timing schedules subject to change.
